If you love coconut, you’ll love ALTRU’s Coconut Jackfruit. Jackfruit is very common in South Asia and Southeast Asia (especially India, Bangladesh, and Thailand). Jackfruit is the largest known tree-borne fruit. Even small jackfruit weigh in at 10 to 15 pounds so heed the locals’ advice: never sit under a jackfruit tree. The fruit has hints of mango, apple, banana, and pineapple. We had a feeling it would pair very nicely with coconut and give us an exciting new twist on the piña colada. We were right.
